What is the best way to reach Roeselare?
The finish zone is within walking distance of the station, so taking the train is a good idea.
By car, follow the direction of the riders. Keep in mind that the arrival zone (Kaaistraat) is completely closed off to all traffic.
Roeselare has several large centre car parks: https://parkeren.be/onze-steden-en-gemeenten/west-vlaanderen/roeselare/parkings , all within walking distance of the race route.
Where is the riders' park at the finish?
The park is also at the head of the Vaart, the Trakelweg, which is actually an extension of the finish zone.
Stick to the (traffic) rules and the instructions of our security services, thank you for making it a nice and safe race together!
Is the race on TV?
Yes: Sporza and Eurosport will broadcast live. Attention: the arrival is scheduled between 2.30 p.m. and 3 p.m., so be on time and best to go to the bakery in the morning for some cakes, don't hesitate to enjoy our Jempi beer too :-).
What else is good to know?
From 5 March, Ichtegem commemorates Richard Depoorter, the local cycling legend who died 75 years ago during the Tour of Switzerland: check out their excellent beer and website https://www.ichtegem.be/het-jaar-van-richard .
Roeselare has a real family of giants, which the association "Reusselaere" takes very good care of. Recently they celebrated the birth of a new giant Jempi. This one can be admired live just after the arrival zone , literally not to be missed! Check the social page of "Reusselaere" at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1379431069022565/ .
