It took some nail-biting and waiting, but the photo finish finally showed the friendly Limburger as the winner of our 12th Grand Prix.
In a first reaction, an overwhelmed Gerben said he "absolutely did not expect this".
He thanked his team for all their support. Caleb Ewan was the disappointed second, with another Australian, Sam Welsford, complete the top three. (more later)
